Silver Pine Kennels was established 43 Years ago, we are dedicated to breeding quality shelties (Shetland sheepdogs) and preserving the true correct head and overall balance of the breed. Careful breeding selection produces intelligence and outgoing temperaments.After 39 years of business in central California I have found that it was no longer practical to continue business there. I moved to South Eastern Wisconsin with the idea that I would no longer continue my breeding program. Two years have past and I find it not possible to discontinue the one thing I love so much. I will continue my breeding program on a limited basis in the home that I now live. With perhaps one or two litters per year for as long as I am able. From now on we will be known as Silver Pine Shelties as I no longer have full kennel facilities.
I have discovered some terrific sire prospects and am looking forward to being able to produce some wonderful dogs here in Wisconsin.
